Fees & Payment Options
At Pillar Mental Health Group, we are committed to offering exceptional psychological care. Our fees follow the recommended guidelines of the Ontario Psychological Association (OPA).
Session Fees (Psychologists)
- Individual Therapy: $270 per 50-minute session
- Psychological Assessment (standard intake assessment): $270 per 50-minute assessment
- Formal diagnostic assessment and report: ~$1000 (pro-rated based on $270 per 50 minutes). A detailed estimate will be provided during your initial consultation and based on your individual needs.
- ADHD Assessment and report: $1620 baseline (pro-rated based on $270 per 50 minutes). A detailed estimate will be provided during your initial consultation and based on your individual needs.
Payment Methods
We accept:
- Credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
- Debit
- e-Transfer
Payment is due at the time of service. You will receive a detailed receipt that can be used for insurance reimbursement or personal records.
Insurance & Reimbursement
Many extended health benefits plans reimburse for services provided by a licensed psychologist. We recommend looking into your coverage by asking your provider:
- How much coverage do I have for psychological services each year?
- What percentage is reimbursed per session?
- Do I require a physician’s referral?
At this time, Pillar Mental Health Group does not bill directly to third-party insurers, with the exception of WSIB and VAC, or when an insurance provider (e.g., Canada Life) has referred a client for services directly. We are happy to provide all necessary information for you to submit claims to your benefits provider.
Cancellation Policy
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee.
